Rene Marie Russo, an American film director and actress who was a former supermodel is a film director. Rene Marie Russo, born in the United States, is an actor, film maker and ex-supermodel. She's known for her elegance beauty. The longevity of her career in a competitive and crowded industry shows her skills and talent in the field of performance. In the 70s, she began her modeling career, and soon was one of the most prominent actors in the industry. In the following decade, she began studying the arts and performed before appearing on the stage in Los Angeles and elsewhere in California. Russo first appeared on TV on ABCs Sable as Eden Kendell, in 1987. The first film she acted in, Major League was released just two years after. Russo played Tom Berengers 'love interest. Rose Namajunas is one of the female athletes with the highest success in the UFC. She started her career as an amateur fighter, competing in various regional promotions before signing with Invicta Fighting Championships and later joining the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). When she joined the UFC in 2011, she became a household-name thanks to the popularity she enjoyed both on and off the an octagon. Namajunas is born June 29th 1993 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to a Lithuanian immigrant family. Rose took part in various games as a youngster such as basketball and kickboxing. Invicta Fighting Championships took her on her at age 18 and she was able to take home two fights by submission. Dana White took notice of this, and she was signed to UFC's strawweight category in the month of December, 2014 when Rose was only 22. Rose has had highs and she's also had lows in her career, yet she has always come out on top. Rose took on Carla Esparza in April 2015 to win the Women's Strawweight Champion. Rose won the bout by technical knockout within 3 minutes after the start of the round. This was the first female to fight for a title title with any of the major promotions in the world. Namajunas had a number of wins following the fight, and she was named Performance Of The Night by UFC after her wins over Joanna Jedrzejczyk.
